The founding philosophy of Erzen herbal candy originated from the challenging and tearful personal experience of Mr. Er zen Hou. He was a versatile and creative inventor, holding numerous invention patents and enjoying a good reputation in the business world. Proficient in various sports such as kendo, swimming, golf, and diving, he excelled in each field. Notably, he established the Taiwanese textile material brand UMORFIL®, gaining international recognition. At the peak of his vigor, he unexpectedly faced a severe traffic accident that resulted in a fractured cervical spine. Lying in the intensive care unit for over three months, he endured indistinct days and nights, unable to speak due to the intubation causing discomfort and excessive phlegm.

Restricted by hospital regulations, family members couldn't be by his side constantly. Alone, he faced numerous life-threatening moments.
